The fast-growing management and communication consultancy Cordovan Group establishes the business area Communication in Stockholm. At the same time, the head office is moved from Gothenburg to Stockholm
Cordovan Group establishes its business area Communication in Stockholm. It will operate under the name Cordovan Digital, and will initially be a project organization with the rest of Cordovan Group as base. Within one year the organization is estimated to consist of about 20 employees.
Håkan Jonsson, founder of the web agency Winston and previously from Betway, will be heading up the Cordovan Digital initiative in Stockholm.
- What attracted me to Cordovan is that the group offers unique possibilities, not only to create web solutions that result in effective communication, but also to offer consulting services that turns clicks and downloads into long term customer relations and concrete business deals, says Håkan Jonsson. This makes us stand out from other web agencies on the market.
Cordovan Group is also present in London, Brussels, Sophia Antipolis, Gothenburg and Malmo. The activities span over two tightly interwoven business areas: Communication and Performance. For the year of 2008 the estimated turnover for the group is 200 MSEK pro forma, before prospective acquisitions.
The Cordovan head office is moved to Stockholm:
During the spring of 2008 the Cordovan head office has been moved to Sandhamnsgatan (Gärdet, Stockholm), where the Stockholm activities with consultants from Communication and Performance are gathered under the same roof.
- The reason for this initiative is that Stockholm is a large and interesting market where we want to be present with the groups complete offer. We also see the importance and the long term benefits of having the head office in direct contact to the financial market, says Magnus Penker, the CEO of Cordovan Group AB (Publ).
