Quality policy
This quality policy has been set by the board and it gives guidelines for quality work within the Cordovan Group and subsidiary companies.
The starting point is that a higher awareness in quality and a successful quality working routine of guarantees that Cordovan Group and their subsidiary companies will go through with all their customer assignments in a financially effective way, with the right quality and timescale. It strengthens the relations with the customers and creates the conditions for a continuous and long-term cooperation.
Customer oriented organization
Our organisation is customer orientated. Every assignment has a client manager who is responsible for all the client’s assignments.
Working methods and routines
The following working methods and routines are used to achieve the right quality – as well as separate customer assignments for the whole of the Cordovan Group activities.
- The Cordovan Group project handbook has common routines and a working model for securely carrying out client projects. Every area has its models and processes for best practice, business case and other components from our structure capital.
- Time plans and project reports describe what needs to be done, who is in charge both with clients and within our organisation, and when it is suppose to be done. Rolling project reports document all decisions.
- An active communication happens continuously with help of memos, suggestions, pilot studies, platforms, sketches, analysis, investigations, proofs etc. Before a project is completed there is a final correspondence.
- Economic governance with frame budgets, price ceilings or fixed prices gives the client, as well as Cordovan Group, good control over the projects budget.
- A computerised project accounting system continuously follows completed costs versus the budget.
- Develop routines for trustworthy computer support and for the running and support of Cordovan Groups internal computer system.
- Automatic backup every day. The possibility to work with numbered versions of production files, which gives the opportunity to go back to an older version if problems should occur.
- Secrecy agreements with all clients as well as employees within the Cordovan Group.
- Every employee has signed a network policy and an email policy to ensure high security against the risk of virus and illegal trespass.
Management and responsibilities
Every co-worker has a personal responsibility to maintain the right level of quality.
Cordovan Groups MD has an overriding responsibility to lead, follow-up and develop Cordovan Groups total quality philosophy.
The MD is also responsible for the consistency of quality work, by keeping the staff informed and educated. The MD is also in charge of routines and quality assurance, and to oversee the demands of the operation.
Cordovan Group Quality work
Quality work should be a natural part of Cordovan Group’s activities and is a condition for success and continuous development.
The means described should provide help and starting points assuring every client assignment is carried out with the right quality. The client / project manager shall be responsible for the quality assurance of the whole process – from initial contact to the final delivery and continuous contact with the customer.
Every co-worker within the Cordovan Group is responsible for their assigned task to be done with the quality specified and according to the guidelines that the Cordovan Group has set up.
To be able to meet new conditions and customer demands the routines and forms for quality assurance of customer assignments shall be regularly revised.
Follow-up and feedback
Every project finishes with a so called “experience meeting” where the customer and the team from Cordovan Group (and subsidiary companies) are included. Experience meetings are designed so that we can go through the results and experiences from the completed project.
Experiences/deviations in larger, or unusual, projects shall be followed up and feedback sent out to the whole company – this will help improve quality levels.
All co-workers shall be stimulated to maintain quality and to give suggestions for better work methods. This will contribute to higher quality of work internally and with our clients.
